What I Did to Get Involved:

 Hi MA!

I decided to give you a little bit of insight into what I did to get involved in politics! You are never too young to be involved in politics!

The earliest memory I have of politics is with my dad. He's a union guy and has been since I was a child. We would do stand outs on Election Day. He asked me about wanting Hillary Clinton to be the first female President. I said I didn't want her to win, and I wanted to be the first Female President.

I joined my school's Model Congress team during my freshman year of high school, to try to get some more exposure to politics. I competed with the program for my entire years of high school. My senior year, I won a full tuition scholarship to AIC to further my education.

As a freshman when COVID hit, I was very unsure what I was going to do. I applied for an internship with the Committee to Re-elect Congressman Richard Neal. I worked with him all summer making phone calls and knocking on doors ensuring a win for the Congressman.

This was the year of the 2020 Presidential Election, and both Georgia Senate races were headed to a runoff. I decided I need to get involved, so I became a digital influencer for the campaign.

During my sophomore to junior year summer, I joined Hampden County District attorney office as a support staff intern. It wasn't a political race, but I decided to give it a chance.

Most recently, I just got off the campaign trail as an intern with Maura Healey's campaign for governor. It was easily the most fascinating job I have had.

Today, Monday December 5th, I was offered an internship with Mayor Sarno's office for the Spring Semester!

Don't let anyone tell you that you are too young or that you cannot do something!
